OPENINGS AND RECEPTIONS Matt Muirhead's E(n)tymology opens May 29 at the Antreasian Gallery with a reception from 7-10 p.m. The Baltimore Museum of Art's annual Art Is for Everyone exhibition--featuring the artwork of Baltimore County public school students, kindergarten-12th grade--opens May 27 and runs through 31, with a Baltimore County student reception 1-4 p.m. May 31. It runs concurrently with As We See It, the BMA's citywide student art exhibition that showcases works by 400 city public schools students, pre-kindergarten-12th grades. Works by winners, finalists, or semifinalists of the MICA-affiliated Trawick and Bethesda Painting Award Honorees opens May 30 in MICA's Meyerhoff Gallery. Six Photographers: Kashmir Through the Lens--which features Images from international photographers Henry D'Silva, Shahid Hashmi, Abdul Nasser, Sujin Balakumaran, and Baltimore native Carl Abrams--opens June 3 at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson with a 6:30 p.m. reception. Local artist Rachel Rotenberg's exhibition of wood sculptures opens June 3 at the Weinberg Park Heights Jewish Community Center, with a 6-8 p.m. artist reception June 23.

CLOSING The Quantum Exhibit ends May 28 at the Definition Gallery. Painter Nancy Lee Davis' People in Places concludes May 29 at Columbia's Artists' Gallery. The Hexagon's Meet the Members show ends May 29. Guillaume Pallat's Baltimore Blue Lights concludes its run in the Creative Alliance's Amalie Rothschild Gallery May 30. Occasional City Paper contributor Dan Van Allen's Paint By Number Portraits concludes its run at Sprout Salon May 30. The work of Charles E. Cooper Jr. ends it runs at the Eubie Blake Jazz Institute and Cultural Center May 30. Ron Parks' New Works ends May 30 at the Meredith Gallery. The Towson Arts Collective's Green Exhibition ends May 30. Spoon It! Fork It! Cut It Up!, an exhibition of domestic tools, ends May 30 at Baltimore Clayworks. Relief--works from Deborah Fisher and Lisa Mordhorst--ends May 31 at Area 405. Mysticism in America concludes its run at the Charles Theatre Workers Art Wall May 31. Wonderings ends May 31 at the Jewish Community Center, Park Heights. Melody Nadia Often's skullflora ends it run at the Station North Arts Café Gallery May 31. Kids and Cameras: A Photography Exhibit ends its run at the University of Baltimore School of Law Art Gallery May 31.
