CALL FOR ENTRIES The College of Notre Dame of Maryland is currently accepting entries for its 21st National Drawing and Print Competitive Exhibition. Drawings and prints--not photography--in any medium are eligible. A non-refundable entry fee of $30 entitles the artist to submit up to three entries. This year's juror is Soledad Salamé. OPENING An exhibition of the witty, ingenious, and visually sumptuous sculptures of David Page opens Nov. 30 at the Stevenson University Gallery with a reception Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. Instant Messages and Reinvent--the exhibition and installation created by students in MICA's Graphic Design MFA program and featuring Lauren Adams, Christina Beard, Chris Clark, Elizabeth Herrmann, Ann Liu, Chris McCampbell, Ryan Shelley, Wesley Stuckey, Beth Taylor, Isabel Uria, Supisa Wattanasansanee, Krissi Xenakis--opens Dec. 1 at the Maryland Art Place with an opening reception Dec. 10 from 5-8 p.m.

CLOSING Matt Bovie's Hola Amigo! New Collages and Other Messes and Vicki McComas' The Clay Menagerie: New Ceramic Works ends Nov. 25 at the Meredith Gallery. Painter Eric Garner's assemblages of shape and color, new/convergence/problem/algorithm, ends Nov. 28 at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson. Hank Willis Thomas solo-project show in the Baltimore Museum of Art's West Wing for Contemporary Art ends Nov. 29. Natasha Tylea's The Pendulum, the Pit, and Hope ends Nov. 29 at the Metro Gallery. Rob Handler's 3-D Exhibit of skylines and landscapes ends Nov. 29 at the Weinberg Park Heights Jewish Community Center. Carole Presnell and Maggie Neely's photo abstractions end Nov. 29 at Zella's Pizzaria. Noetic Justice, the Charles Theatre Workers Union exhibition that explores the science of thought and reasoning, ends Nov. 30. A View of the Parade: H.L. Mencken and American Magazines ends Nov. 30 at the George Peabody Library.
