Unless you’re planning to buy property in Roland Park or are a member of an exclusive club, you might think that finding a good community pool is not an easy job. And it can be a major financial investment, running into the hundreds just for initial fees. If this is true, then you’re not looking in the right places. In fact, for $25 for the entire season you can join the Baltimore City public pools and use any of the five huge park pools as much as you want. Or you can pay $10 and use any of the 13 “walk-to” (not in a park) outdoor pools or three indoor pools. Still too much cash to keep cool? It costs $1.50 to spend a day at a park pool and $1 for a “walk-to,” which hardly breaks the bank.
