When diners enter this homey, sweet little Hamilton spot, the staff invariably sings out, "Welcome, amigos!" and then proceeds to make even the most reserved customer feel like one of la familia (although the high-octane sangria helps, too). Standard Tex-Mex combo plates in every conceivable permutation are good, but the scattered South American entrées--lomo saltado, carnitas--are even better. Be adventurous and try one of the darkly spiced mole dishes or the heavenly marinated seafood appetizer, ceviche, both the first in their classes in Baltimore.
