DeGroen's Weizen

Perhaps it was the heat of summer. In August we did a tasting tour of fine Maryland beers--including the Wharf Rat's brew and the legendary Resurrection Ale at Brewer's Art--and this year we settled on a simple, refreshing hefeweizen. An award winner at the Great American Beer Festival, DeGroen's summery wheat beer is light and crisp, a perfect remedy for the heavy humidity of a Baltimore summer. Get it while it's still warm outside.
