Best Pretzel Dog

The Pretzel Twist

Cross Street Market, 1065 S. Charles St., (410) 675-5299

Posted 9/20/2006

Many people hit Cross Street Market for the fresh seafood, desserts, flowers, and Utz potato chips, but the real gem here can be found in an inconspicuous little pretzel stand a few yards from the bar area. There you'll find a protein-packed pre- or post-beerfest treat that always hits the spot. At just $1.75, the pretzel dog, with or without cheese, will leave your belly asking for more and your wallet with more than enough money to buy beer at the market or the stadium. Don't ask for the nutritional ingredients in this buttery, salty, juicy, and always heated just right appetizer; just ask for one more for the road.
