It's Friday at midnight, and you haven't eaten. Every joint in town is closed except for the greasy spoons. Well, not every place. Mezze has been known to serve Greek-influenced tapas at its bar up till about 2 a.m. OK, so it's not a steak sub at the Sip and Bite that will float in your stomach atop the volumes of Miller Lite you consumed at Power Plant Live! Instead, how about some good hummus, spinach pies, meatballs and pastitsio--something cooked in olive oil instead of beef tallow. And Mezze serves some pretty good sangrķa, too, if you haven't nurtured your liquid diet enough. Try ordering that at a greasy spoon.
