As everyone's favorite underdog in this year's World Cup, Trinidad and Tobago put smiles on the faces of soccer fans worldwide with its feisty play against the likes of England. T&T may not have scored a goal during its stay in Germany, but it took Sweden to a draw. Not bad for a tiny two-island nation at the southern end of the Caribbean. Also not bad is the Caribbean Food Store. Like the owners' homeland of Trinidad and Tobago, it's a bit off the beaten path, deep in Woodlawn, at an anonymous strip center. But it's worth finding, if for nothing else than its delicious, filling, somewhat unusual rotis--burrito-ish flatbread wraps that mash up West African and East Indian cuisines. The takeout menu is a bit confusing, but the folks behind the counter are happy to help. And they won't let you go home hungry.
