Sure, it's no Power Plant Live!, but if you're looking for yet another reason to hate college kids, the Den will provide. The Den should be a great bar. It's a beautiful space--save for the gimmicky beds lining the wall--the drinks are reasonably priced, and you can get food from Tamber's below brought to you by the helpful staff. The only problem is that it's right across from Johns Hopkins' Homewood campus, meaning it is overrun by drunken college students. A grownup in the place is left pondering the sea of lacrosse caps and lanyards, trying to avoid looking at young girls' ass cracks protruding from no-rise jeans and feeling oddly naked without a J Card. On the upside, those ridiculous beds will come in handy when the book-smart, drinking-dumb Hopkins students down one tequila too many.
