Have A Nice Day Café
This one goes out to all the clubbers who remember a bygone era when college nights at crowded Baltimore nightspots were where all the weekend action was at. With Bar Baltimore and Hammerjacks gone the way of VHS, Have A Nice Day Café is one of the few dance-oriented joints still standing and keeping the Baltimore club scene on life support. And it isn't pretty. The outlandish 1970s setup comes replete with lighted dance floor, disco balls hanging from the ceiling, broadcasts of Dad's favorite flicks, and plenty of music, from dance-floor oldies but goodies to contemporary Latin heat--a stark contrast to the overabundant hipster nights where the au courant crowds don't even dance half the time. This spot is all about shaking your derriere and drinking, so leave the pretentiousness at home.
