How do we love Han Ah Reum? Let us count the ways: We love it to the depths of its watery tanks full of blue crabs, eels, and other yummy sea creatures. We love it to the tops of its towering shelves full of salty-sweet fish snacks and packets of rice noodles. We love it to the . . . oh, you get it already.

Part of a chain with stores in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Maryland, Han Ah Reum puts other Asian markets to shame. First of all, it's huge--it's housed in a former suburban grocery store--it's well organized, and it's full of pretty much any and all the basic ingredients we'd need for a spectacular Korean, Chinese, or Japanese meal. And it's also cheap, cheap, cheap--especially the produce, which is generally fresher than at most of the other grocery stores around.
