But if you do find yourself with a plugged-up drainpipe or a broken boiler, we recommend that you get on the horn to John's Discount Plumbing and Heating before you start calling the big-name chain plumbers. Every time we've called John's, they've sent someone over to our place in no time flat, given us a reasonable estimate, and fixed our problems with hardly any downtime at all. The guys are friendly (and don't make you feel stupid when you have to call them to help you get a stick out of the garbage disposal--oops!), they work fast, and they live up to the "discount" part of the company's name.
