Valley Gun Shop, headed by National Rifle Association board member Sanford Abrams, illegally failed to keep records of guns it sold until the feds revoked its license last year, prompting the firearms dealer to shift its inventory to Just Guns, a new store operating next door in Abrams family property. Abrams, who's 58, hasn't fared well since; he's scheduled for trial on Baltimore County firearms charges in October. (He's still in the good graces of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, though, which lists him on its web site as the contact at the Maryland Licensed Firearms Dealer Association, one of the firearms-safety training groups certified as "reputable" under Maryland law.) But Just Guns is doing just fine. Peruse its wide selection and know that, if you buy, all will be on the up-and-up.
