We don't mean any disrespect when we say "cheap," so if you prefer "inexpensive," that fits, too. Eastern House is a cozy old-school (they had us at lunch with "Chicken Pot Pie en Casserole with a Biscuit" for $5.50, and then later at dinner with a pan-fried whole rainbow trout with two sides for $11.95) full-service restaurant with friendly servers, nice lighting, comfy booths, and a full bar, serving lunch and dinner specials that allow us to enjoy a belt-loosening multicourse meal without losing our shirts.
