So many of our favorite things to eat in Baltimore are in the same place, right here: the halloumi, the pan-roasted quail, the shark fritters, those baby lamb chops, the chilled beets with walnuts and feta. It's been four years now, and Mezze has landed on top of the big tapas pile, we think. We know that the crowds--and the service--can be rough on busy weekend nights, so we think you should go there on a Tuesday, dip into some sangría, and start ordering up those little plates. Let's see, what else? The tarama, the fried calamari with pecorino and black pepper, the baba ghanouj . . .
