The Black Olive
We went to Greece once. It was one of those magical adventures where everything we put in our mouths was the best thing we had ever eaten. Whenever we want to relive that experience, we go to the Black Olive in Fells Point. They grill their lobster, a preparation we fell in love with on that trip. The stuffed calamari is heaven, as is the pleasantly tender octopus salad. The Black Olive has also earned our admiration for its simple yet wonderfully complementary preparations of whole fish that have provided us with both a seafood education--who knew we loved barbouni?--and an appreciation for fish in its purest form.
