Best Brunch
Two Sisters Grille
127 27th St., (410) 467-0550
We take brunch very seriously, and thankfully, so do the folks at Two Sisters. After working together at Pete's Grille, Cathy Carter and Debby Crum recently opened their own diner at the corner of 27th and Howard, in the space that used to be the 1.7th Generation karaoke bar. While we mourn the loss of one of our favorite karaoke venues, we're thrilled that a quality establishment like Two Sisters has taken its place. The newly opened diner serves food all day, but we flock there for the simple but delicious breakfast menu. The eggs are cooked to order and are perfection on a plate, especially when served with seasoned home fries and grits that make you think you woke up farther south of the Mason-Dixon line than usual. Not only is the food mouth-watering, it's also reasonably priced, so you can order as many sides of crispy turkey sausage as you can cram in your mouth. For now they only take cash, so come prepared with an empty stomach and a wallet full of green.
