King Tutt, at 25, may be on the young side as far as club producers go, but he has already racked up a considerable number of dance-floor fillers such as "Tear It Up," "Back of the Ac," and "Big Girl Theme," earning the co-sign of a club legend like DJ Scottie B. Lately, Tutt's work has been heard mostly as Scottie's right-hand man, co-producing tracks like "African Chant" and high-profile remixes for clients like go-go godfather Chuck Brown. But with King Tutt's own album Evolution on the way soon, we're eager to hear what the kid can do all on his own.
