Let's get right to the point. The Charles Street gallery corridor doesn't have many art galleries. Thank goodness the C. Grimaldis Gallery reliably anchors this cultural strip, offering shows that range from an iconic Baltimore painter, Grace Hartigan, to an international assortment of painters and sculptors whose work otherwise might not get local exposure; the past year saw an exhibit featuring the work of two Cuban photographers, Raul Corrales and Gory. Grimaldis has longevity, location, and quality in its favor.
