No offense to the numerous multiple flat-screen TVs-boasting bars, pubs, taverns, and dives scattered wide and yon around Baltimore, but sometimes watching baseball, basketball, and American football feels like a waste of time. You have to pay for the beer and you can't even chain smoke during those tense moments when your team is this close to prevailing and you finally reap the benefit of putting $50 down against the spread. Might as well stay at home and invite the guys over. But if you want to catch some English Premiere League football--that's soccer to we Yanks--with some like-minded fans or, better yet, pony up at 9 a.m. for a pint of stout, and right solid traditional Irish breakfast, and live rugby matches, then you really only have one place in town that knows how to treat you right. Salud--well, make that sláinte.
