While the occasional skull and crossbones pocket square or Old Bay tie is refreshing, the true flag of individuality in a man's business ensemble is the cuff links. Even with no shortage of vintage and antique(-ish) establishments around town, the best cuff links, by far, are at Hampden's Dreamland. A walk-in-closet-like space tightly packed with the exquisite taste of a very pregnant proprietor, Dreamland's inventory toes the line between kitsch and classic with precision, as evidenced by the men's treasures buried in the jewelry counter. Recent booty: enamel cuff links set in brass that read bull on one and shit on the other in big red text, a la that love print from the '60s.
