With radio play for tracks with Mullyman, Barnes, and Silouette, Banga Bill may be the closest thing to a hitmaker that Baltimore rap has who's pure hip-hop, with not a drop of club music in his sound. Year after year, he proves his versatility and deep well of textures and moods, most recently with the ominous piano riffs of Ace and Will Starr's "Story to Tell" and the rolling synth groove of the Boy Blesst's "Good Times Roll." But with his primary collaborator K-Mack's Night Ryda, Bill's also shown he can produce a whole album front to back and never run out of bangers.
