Rock club means rock club, not multi-use space that sometimes has rock shows. As it gets harder and harder to run an actual club--with rent, bar, staff, and all the rest--we see fewer and fewer opening. So we're giving it to a stalwart and the club that seems to have the most actual rock--local up and comers, big names--the Talking Head. We know it's not like it used to be in the anarchic, crumbling Head on Davis Street, but the relocated Talking Head (now in a back room of the mega concert space, Sonar) has done well adapting to its new digs. Hell, the bathroom is almost nasty by now.
