Spirit of Place (Charms City Publishing) is a rarer work--a book about Baltimore, written for Baltimoreans. Writer Sarah Achenbach and photographer Bill McAllen set out to create a love letter to the city, seen through the eyes of their subjects and the places they love, and in the process they give us a new view of the city itself.
