Lots of restaurants are offering small plates these days, but none are as consistently interesting as the Italian offerings from Chef Christopher Paternotte at the newly opened Taverna Corvino. Think juniper marinated lamb-chops, spicy razor clams, tagliatelle with toasted chestnuts and Gorgonzola. If fresh burrata is one of the day's specials, be sure to open up your wallet and order it. On past visits, the cheese was glorious.
