Best Bloody Marys

Pimlico Race Course

Maybe it's just us, but it seems that Baltimore's Bloody Marys have lost their way. Rather than a refreshing adult beverage, served into the wee noon hours of a Sunday, this esteemed drink has taken on all the markings of a masochistic dare. Pepper vodka, jalapeno hot sauce, Tabasco, horseradish, mixed together and topped off with copious amounts of Old Bay appear to have become the stomach-turning norm these days. Fortunately for us, the fine folks of Pimlico Race Course have stubbornly ignored this trend. So next time you decide to let some of that stimulus money ride on the ponies, do yourself a favor and search out the Finish Line Bar in the Grandstand to partake in a precisely assembled Bloody Mary, served with just the right amount of kick to start your day off right.
