President and head roaster Thomas Rhodes seeks out the best growers--whether they're fair trade, rainforest alliance, or merely good farmers who grow independent of those labels--and the best beans, organic and conventional. At about $12 a pound, you can travel the world. Lately, we've been hanging out in Ethiopia, but that could change on a whim or a suggestion by someone working the stall.
