Hamilton Tavern was the first in town to offer a burger topped with bacon and a fried egg. Others have followed, but the crosstown burger sets the standard for messy deliciousness. Take a bite and taste soft yolk against sweet bacon, the heat of horseradish cheddar against the bland crunch of iceberg lettuce, all joined together by rich Roseda beef. All that plus house-made chips for $12. Other burgers need not apply.
