When plans were announced last year for an upscale rendition of Pikesville's beloved Mari Luna Mexican Grill, longtime fans of the restaurant were skeptical. "Why mess with a good thing?" they grumbled. But in the Latin Grille, chef/owner Jaime Luna created something that's been missing from Baltimore's landscape: high-quality, upscale pan-American cooking. Flaky empanadas, grilled ribeye in chimichurri sauce, and the most economical paella in town all make appearances here. Move over, Tio Pepe.
