Best Latino Restaurant
Arizona Tapas Bar and Grill
25 S. Broadway, (410) 342-4426
Spanish, Tex Mex, Cuban, Colombian, Peruvian, even Italian: Arizona Tapas serves up a veritable Latin League of cuisines. Emphasis is on divine classic Spanish tapas dishes like shrimp in garlic sauce, sliced chorizo, and tender fried calamari, washed down with earthenware pitchers of sangr’a. Or do your own United Nations thing and pair a Mexican beer with hearty lomo saltado, a Peruvian mixed grill plate of strip steak, tomatoes, peppers, and fried potatoes. Like any good Latino joint, the pace (and the service) is relaxed, but there's salsa music on the jukebox competing with the soca music blaring from the kitchen, and everyone in between is having themselves a fine old dancin' and drinkin' time. Plus, prices here are so sweet and low you can have yourself one heck of a night on the town for 20 bucks.
