Trying to name the best Mexican restaurant in Baltimore is kinda like trying to name the best air-conditioning salesman in Antarctica: there just aren't a lot to choose from. These days, however, we're happily stuck on Hamilton's sweetheart of a Mexican/Peruvian restaurant, Los Amigos. Endearingly, the cheerful, hard-working staff calls us "amigo" at every opportunity (as in, "Can I bring you another pitcher of our lethal homemade sangr’a, amigo?"). The food ranges from darn good straightforward Mexican chow to double-darn good Peruvian dishes (don't miss the lomo saltado), the prices are low, and the atmosphere unbeatably relaxed and friendly.
