Best Korean Restaurant

Nam Kang

2126 Maryland Ave., (410) 685-6237

Posted 9/18/2002

Hello, Nam Kang. We love you. We love you for your piping hot and spicy soon doo boo jigae, with mounds of silken tofu. We love you for your creamy, cold-vanquishing gom tang soup, filled with slabs of beef and tripe, clear noodles, and fresh scallions. We love you for your sizzling, stone-potted dolsot bibim bab: crisp bean sprouts and tasty spinach on top, crunchy rice on the bottom. We love you for your ever zesty and eclectic appetizer rounds of cabbage kimchi, shredded radish in sweet rice vinegar, and that irresistible variation of Korean potato salad whipped to soft perfection, crowned with sweet onion. We love you for offering Chinese-Korean nummies like black bean sauce loaded with squid, shrimp, pork, and vegetables over noodles, and deep-fried chicken glazed with hot peppered garlic sauce. We love you for your kind, attentive waitstaff and even sweeter hostess. And most of all, we love you for staying open till 4 a.m.
