Wells Discount Liquors

6310 York Road, (410) 435-2700

Posted 9/13/2000

We're going to divulge a little personal information here: We drink. A lot. For us, a trip to the liquor store requires a cart, some time, and about a hundred bucks. So we take our venue very seriously indeed, and most of the time that means we go to Wells. Yes, there's that Home Depot of alcohol over on Joppa Road, but we prefer the personal touch and excellent service at Wells to the shiny deserted aisles of the liquor mega-lo-mart. Prices are reasonable, selection is good, and there are case discounts. Most importantly, however, when we are in need of a decent $8 cabernet, there's someone who cares--and is right there to help us find it.
