Being joined at the hip (and, presumably, the kitchen) with a sister restaurant of different culinary vintage (San Sushi Too) hasn't comprised the Thai fare at Towson's Thai One On. The basics are very good--lemon-grass soup, pad Thai--but our true loves are the Bangkok mussels steamed with lime, cilantro, and hot chiles and the drunken noodles, a darkly sweet and rather spicy variation of pad Thai. If you can handle the hot stuff, don't miss goon ma now, an incendiary shrimp experience. But nobody should miss Thai One On's desserts--the sticky rice with mango is absolutely sublime, and the occasionally available black rice with young coconut is a delicious treat. The sushi is also very good here, so if you feel like having yourself a one-person summit of Asian cuisines, don't worry--you won't be the first.
