Best Bread
Big Sky Bread Co.
509 W. Cold Spring Lane, (410) 662-6070
We love the heavenly breads baked at Big Sky. As a matter of fact, you might call us "bread heads" for our fanatic appreciation of this bakery's variations on a theme. Our mornings revolve around Big Sky's heavenly, hefty multigrain loaf, lightly toasted to its nutty, chewy, yummy best. For snacking any time of day, we love the cinnamon-walnut-raisin bread or any of the daily-special fruit breads, such as cranberry apple. (We like to call these "dessert breads.")
Three-seed bread, sunflower bread, potato-cheddar bread, challah. We'd like to collect 'em all, and with our "bread club" card that gives a free loaf for every 12 purchased, we may actually succeed. If Cold Spring Lane is not on your regular route, never fear-in case you can't get to the mother ship itself, Big Sky also sells its wares through Graul's Markets in Ruxton, May's Chapel, and Hereford; Eddie's supermarkets; and the Super Fresh on 41st Street.
