Double T

6300 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, 744-4151; 1 Mountain Rd., Glen Burnie, 766-9669

Posted 9/18/1996

They donít have the Sip & Biteís greasy-spoon charm, or the Butteryís entertaining clientele, or the Bel-Locís famously surly waitresses, but what the two Double Ts do have is a 10-page menu offering everything from meat loaf to moussaka. Each time we visit, we are amazed that we can pick any one of the menuís 300-plus wide-ranging items and the staff will be prepared to fix it, just like that. Plus, they manage to keep the places spotlessly clean and bright. Each Double T gets extra credit for having, of all things for a diner, a bar. Although weíve never had any alcoholic beverages there, itís nice to know we have the option.
