From its deluxe deco/disco dance club and Casablanca-ish martini bar complete with piano upstairs, to the one-more-reason-to-go karaoke and Buzzer game-show nights, Grand Central has you covered in a light dusting of party like it’s, well, 2004. With old-school Madonna and the latest Christina Aguilera videos up on screen along with the hot-hot boys of Baltimore, this place be booty bouncing and grinding, but it’s more than just a sexy face. Stained-glass lamps shine a flattering glow on the long, wood bar in the downstairs pub—sporting Goldfish for a drinky-munch—and pool tables take over much of the midlevel den. The fabulous outside tables are also the place to see and be seen. We love the Hippo and always will, but Grand Central be kicking some ass and has for a while now. You know the place’ll be packed after the Best of Baltimore Party, so save us a seat, hooker.
