Zellas doesn't have to try very hard to win over its Hollins Market/Sowebo neighbors. In an area still depressingly beat, except for a few stabs by would-be gentrifiers and neighborhood old-schoolers, just about any old clean, well-lighted place with maybe a couple of taps will do. But this pizza shop serves its local drinkers with gusto. Most nights you'll find a handful of familiar drinkers huddled around the L-shaped tiled bar, sipping cocktails or a brew off an impressive beer list (rotating taps have included a couple of Lancaster beers, Clipper City, and the requisite Yeungling) and maybe munching on a plate of stellar wings. Service is always aces--the evening bartender knew my name from visit number two--so it's a guarantee you'll leave with a new friend in the neighborhood.
