More on Gino's Bar and Grill.

Dunno what to make of it, but Gino's has a weird section on its homepage advertising the "Men of Gino's," to the effect of "Ladies, men got HOOTERS now you got MAN OF GINO'S." Huzzah! Bummer is that the men of Gino's are only in effect Fridays (with Baltimore club old-schooler DJ Kenny B.) and Saturdays, and we got there on a Sunday, lured in by a sidewalk barker pitching $5 pizzas and two-for-$5 beers. Gino's is a new place and currently in some stage of construction/renovation, so the bar is still unfinished wood, but the place feels like it has potential: two levels and two bars, lots of weird old painted wood, super friendly service, one big-ass television at the end of the bar, if you're into that. (Given the bar's location at the entrance to Camden Yards, you probably are, at least for sports.) Beer selection is currently limited to bottles of domestic cheapies, Heineken, and Steel Reserve, and a few like-minded taps. No liquor. Also, if the men of Gino's aren't incentive enough, the web site of Gino's is advertising a "ladies drink free everyday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m." special, which just seems nuts.
