Why We Go: Gourmet bagels made by hand from choice ingredients, plus the finest selection of smoked fish and other toppings in the 410/443, all served in a bustling, neighborly setting.
What We Eat: A colossus (Greg's version of an "everything") toasted with cream cheese and a few slim slices of Jail Island custom-smoked salmon, or whatever other fish Novik recommends that week. Shy he ain't.
What We'd Change: The shop closes when Novik goes on vacation. We understand quality control and the personal touch, but "disappointed" doesn't cover it when we roll up and spot the hand-lettered sign in the darkened window.
