Why We Go: To enjoy a relaxed, homey coffeehouse experience before Starbucks completely takes over the town.
What We Eat: A Common Ground has a ton of caffeinated beverages, but we've been loving its sandwiches lately--any one of them, on a firm ciabatta roll with a tomato slice so thick and luscious it should be hung on the wall as art, and slather the whole thing with sweet but tangy mango chutney.
What We'd Change: This space can feel a bit claustrophobic when it's crowded, especially around the counter, which is located in a narrow hallway.
