Why We Go: Miss Shirley's put its own twist on breakfast classics--sweet corn cakes Benedict, for example. They're willing to wrap a hot dog in bacon, but it's applewood-smoked bacon, which has got to be healthier somehow, right?
What We Eat: What else? A quarter-pound kosher all-beef hot dog wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon.
What We'd Change: Shirley's is obviously willing to take some chances with the ingredients, but sometimes you just want regular old eggs Benedict. Is that so wrong?
