Why We Go: Great coffee, nice atmosphere (a whole bookshelf of reading materials, including magazines you love but are too cheap to subscribe to yourself), the food is inexpensive but good, and they offer outdoor seating on a quiet side street in Charles Village.
What We Eat: The oatmeal with cream and brown sugar, the homemade scones, and the appropriately sized muffins; just say no to breakfast muffins as large as your head.
What We'd Change: We wish Carma's was a little larger; in bad weather there's not much room to sit inside during busy morning hours.
