Why We Go: Trinacria is a longstanding favorite for both Italian groceries and sandwiches. We go for both. Recently, we bought a party tray. It was so huge we had to force guests to take bags of cold cuts home with them.

What We Eat: Sandwiches on delicious, crusty Italian bread--the smoked turkey with artichoke hearts and Dijon mustard; the veggie panini with eggplant and peppers; the mozzarella, basil, and tomato on focaccia--or whatever we dream up at the counter.

What We'd Change: Well, they handled our biggest (albeit, minor) annoyance by taking plastic now instead of just cash. How about another location?
