Why We Go: Great Central American food in a wacky environment we've never been able to figure out. Baseball and Botero? A nightclub? Tiki bar? Family restaurant? Whatever. It works its own magic.
What We Eat: The Salvadoran plates. Carne asada, pupusas, flautas, plantains, fish, everything is generously portioned and fresh. The food's not too greasy, as this cuisine tends to be. But you're not going to a Salvadoran restaurant to nibble on a salad, are you? Not here anyway, as the food is too hefty and delicious.
What We'd Change: Don't change a thing, Carlos. We love the mashed-up charm.
