Why We Go: Affordable, reasonably priced Mexican fare a cut above the norm for this part of the country. Also: a very dependable margarita.
What We Eat: Barbacoa de carnero, a nicely spiced lamb dish, and the crema Arcos soup--a deliciously sinful concoction of veggies, bacon, and cream.
What We'd Change: The addition of a few more vegetarian options. And sometimes the casual service means the queso fundido arrives at the table not piping hot, making dipping a little clumsy.
