Why We Go: If you avoid the busiest times--mostly weekend evenings, but also during some sporting events--Nick's is the best place in town to grab a beer, some oysters, and a chat with your next-stool neighbor.

What We Eat: Raw oysters, fried oysters, oysters however they're serving them. Oh, and don't forget the steamed shrimp--and maybe some sushi.

What We'd Change: First off, if you're gonna serve a crab cake, make it a good one. Other than that, it'd be nice to get warned, via cell-phone technology or something, if a mob-sized crowd is going to take over the market because of some unbeknownst-to-us sporting event.
