Why We Go: For the best Indian food outside of Manhattan's Sixth Street Indian restaurant row, expertly prepared and intelligently spiced. The generous portion size is nice, too.

What We Eat: Anything with lamb, particularly the lamb bhuna, and anything from the extensive vegetarian menu. Bindi masala and baigan bharta are standouts, even better eaten with the house-made raw mango chutney.

What We'd Change: Make the $7.95 lunch/brunch buffet more exciting (and reflective of the menu's strong points), but mainly we'd change the fact that eaters north of the Beltway overwhelmingly favor chain restaurants, leaving Asiana distressingly underpatronized.
