More on Padonia Station.

By Jami Katz | Posted 3/18/2009

Although it may be a bit hard to push yourself through the screaming football fans at Padonia Station, the spirited sports-bar atmosphere can be enticing on a boring Monday night. There's more than enough space to chill and relax, and Padonia Station provides everyone with some form of entertainment, from the numerous TVs to the skanky teenager wannabes dancing closely on the dance floor. Even if you're not into the whole live-music/steamy boogie scene, the cocktails here are not bad. What started out as one Malibu Bay Breeze ($ 4.25), ordered to distract us from the wild dance show to our left, turned into one more simply because of its delicious taste. The candy-like beverage was, oddly, a pleasant match for the greasy plate of wings (12 for $8.49) we ordered--an absolute Monday-night must have. Though the crowd wasn't the classiest when we visited, the spot was nonetheless a comfortable place to start the week.
