Alright, the valet parking doesn't exactly scream "cheap," but unless pub filet mignon's your jam, you'd be hard-pressed to spend more than a 10 spot at Mid-Town Belvedere's newest and, arguably, only sports bar. In fact, if you hit one of Turp's handful of specials nights, you can walk out of here full on just about couch change: 30-cent wings on Monday, half-price pizza on Tuesday, and half-price burgers on Wednesday. None of this counts for much if the food isn't actually good, and while it's nothing to come running up from Fells Point for, it's good enough. The wings (12 for $7.50) are about average--a bit over-sauced on our visit and we couldn't tell much of a difference between the "original" and the garlic-spiced. A friend went for a burger, which was serviceable, and the "power house" sandwich seemed like the sort of overkill--hummus and pesto?--that might come from a chef who's never actually dined with a vegetarian. If you're drinkin' in front of a game, though, it gets the job done.
